Great Northern has received moderate snow falls and temperatures between -1 & -10 this past week on the Mountain. Our seasonal snow pack is now averaging 3.5 Meters (11.5 feet) with another 40 cm in the forecast before this coming weekend. Conditions are boot top at the moment with great skiing and lots of fresh powder to go around, many of our areas are resetting every 3 days with no tracks in-site!!

Snow in the forecast! Conditions have been deep! - knee to mid thigh up at Great Northern for the past 10 days with little to no wind effect across the ski tenure. Our past 2 days have been a bit chilly with daytime high temps around -12 C and overnight lows hitting -23 at the lodge. Our forecast models show a return to more seasonal temperatures and more of the white stuff , with up to 30 cm arriving over the next few days.
We are skiing on a 3 m snow pack which for this time of the season is unbelievable, come check it out:) and bring your FAT POWDER SKI’S!

With 6 feet of snow before Christmas, another 4.5 feet of snow this past week and everything in between, the skiing at Great Northern is nothing short of “Powder Perfect” - deep turns and good times are the norm these days!!
